Local Area Information

Both properties are conveniently located on outskirts of Benllech but walking distance to all of the amenities.

Children

The playground has been fully refurbished in 2022.  Situated on the A5025 north leaving the village - passed Tesco on your left, the playground is around a further 200 metres on the opposite side of the road.  There is a small car park.  

Benllech blue flag beach

The beach is around a 10 - 15 minutes walk from both properties.  The walk is down hill so won't be suitable for guests with mobility issues, but there is limited free parking on the road side (there are time constraints) and a large car park.  

You will find an ice cream parlour which also serves drinks and the Wendon shop and cafe on the promenade is open in busy periods.

As Benllech beach has coveted blue flag status, there is a dog ban on the middle section of the beach from 1 May to 30 September, but you can join the beach with your dog(s) on lead until you get passed this section - there is signage at the entrance.

Shops

Benllech village has a variety of shops including a small Tesco, Co-op, Spar, Pharmacy, Pips Pets pet shop and an excellent independent butcher and fishmonger "Siop 7 Cranc - the Crab Shop".   There is also a ladies clothes shop Inshore Clothing | Facebook

Jump in the car and you will find a large choice of supermarkets, all typically within 15-20 minutes.

Local pubs

The Breeze Hill is a 2 minute walk from both properties.

Both serve food, have outdoor seating areas and are dog friendly

There are two ice cream parlours in Benllech, the closest being "Harela's"   (2) Facebook which is easy walking distance,

Watch out for Friday / Saturday evenings at The Shed, with a fabulous set menu, but you need to book in advance https://www.facebook.com/TheShedBenllech/   The Shed isn't licensed but you can take your own alcohol (Dog Friendly)
