Travelling around Anglesey
Anglesey is normally linked to the mainland by the Britannia Bridge, carrying the A55 from the mainland across to Holyhead, and also the Menai Suspension Bridge, carrying the A5 trunk road East to West.
From Junction 8 of the A55 the A5025 takes the route round the northern edge of Anglesey and runs through Benllech. The A4080 takes you round the southern edge form a ring.
The six railway stations are Holyhead, Valley, Rhosneigr, Ty Croes, Bodorgan and Llanfairpwll. All are on the Coast Line, with services operated by Avanti West Coast to London Euston, and by Transport for Wales Rail to Chester, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff.
Stena Line and Irish Ferries sail from Holyhead to Dublin.
